Terms & Conditions

These terms govern all quotes, agreements and services provided by Max Builders, a trading name of Jaatx UK Ltd. By engaging us, you accept these terms.

1. Quotes & estimates

All quotes provided by Max Builders are estimates only and remain subject to a physical site inspection. Prices may change depending on site conditions, materials, urgency, scope of works and any unforeseen factors discovered during inspection or works.

2. Commencement of work

Work will only commence once a written agreement (quote acceptance, contract or signed order) has been issued and any required deposit has been received.

3. Variations

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be confirmed in writing. Variations may affect price and timeline, and will be quoted separately before being undertaken.

4. Payment

Payment terms will be specified in your written agreement. Late payments may incur interest at the statutory rate.

5. Delays & liability

Max Builders is not responsible for delays caused by weather, suppliers, third parties, statutory bodies, or unforeseen site issues including but not limited to hidden defects, services, structural conditions, contamination or planning matters.

6. Warranties

Workmanship is warranted in line with the agreed contract. Manufacturers' warranties apply to materials and goods supplied.

7. Electrical works

Max Builders does not undertake electrical installation works. Where required, we will recommend appropriately qualified third parties.

8. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the contract. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury or any liability that cannot be limited under law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
